Oil Painting Portrait

Oil painting is a kind of painting made on canvas (linen cloth), cardboard or wood board by blending pigments with fast drying vegetable oils (linseed oil, poppy oil, walnut oil, etc.). The thinner used in painting is volatile turpentine oil and dry linseed oil. The paint attached to the screen has a strong hardness, which can maintain the luster for a long time after the screen is dry. By virtue of the hiding power and transparency of pigments, the painted objects can be fully displayed, with rich colors and strong three-dimensional texture. Oil painting is one of the main types of western painting.
